After more than three years of massive TyphoonYolanda onslaught, G Diaries revisits Samar and Leyte with Gina Lopez as she and the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc. establish even more sustainable livelihood programs and exciting eco-tourism destinations.
G Diaries travels to Sabang Daguitan Surf Camp and the San Jose Skim boarding Camp at Dulag, Leyte, dubbed as one of the premiere surfing capitals in the Philippines. This episode also features Gina’s brother, avid environmentalist, Ernie Lopez, and his family as they support Gina’s mission for area development and community building. He and his children led the tree planting activity, children’s book donation and beach clean-up.
Narrated by Boy Abunda, G Diaries retells the tragic yet life-changing of how Typhoon Yolanda struck down lives and dreams and wreaked the worst havoc in Samar and Leyte.
